ARLINGTON, Va. - Private information at bargain prices. It was a high-tech flub at the McCain-Palin campaign headquarters in Arlington when Fox 5’s Investigative Reporter Tisha Thompson bought a Blackberry device containing confidential campaign information...
one of the $20 Blackberry phones contained more than 50 phone numbers for people connected with the McCain-Palin campaign, as well as hundreds of emails from early September until a few days after election night.
We traced the Blackberry back to a staffer who worked for “Citizens for McCain,” a group of democrats who threw their support behind the Republican nominee. The emails contain an insider’s look at how grassroots operations work, full of scheduling questions and rallying cries for support.
But most of the numbers were private cell phones for campaign leaders, politicians, lobbyists and journalists.
We called some of the numbers..
We called the McCain-Palin campaign, who says, “it was an unfortunate staff error and procedures are being put in place to ensure all information is secure.”
I ran across this on Shine @ Yahoo.
John McCain has run the most deceptive and incompetent campaign ever:
Joe the Plumber: Republican Plant and Relative of Charles Keating?
...some are saying that Joe isn't who he appears to be.
Here's the buzz from the internet:
- Wurzelbacher, who says he was playing football outside with his son when he came upon the crowd gathered around Obama, was planted by the Republican party. This would explain how conservative sites got stories posted about him in advance of the debate and how easily everyone else found him for interviews. (update I personally don't think he was a plant. I feel sorry for the guy... almost.)
- Wurzelbacher is not a registered voter. (update: he is registered to vote but his name is misspelled on his registration)
- Wurzelbacher may not be licensed in his home state of Ohio. (update: NO license because he isn't a licensed plumber he's an apprentice.)
- Wurzelbacher may be related to Robert Wurzelbacher of Cincinnati, Ohio, who happens to be Charles Keating's son-in-law. Keating was implicated in the Keating 5 scandal.
- Wurzelbacher already owns a few companies, which would contradict his claims of being a plumber looking to buy a small business.
(One thing that is on the record: Wurzelbacher compared Obama to Sammy Davis Jr. in an interview with Katie Couric. Ouch.)
So is any of this true? I'm not sure, but some things are suspicious. For instance, how was it that a newspaper was present when Joe was watching the debate...Hillary tells it like it is and why it is imperative that we elect Barack Obama as President of the United States of America.
Yes, I believe.
...In Florida, Obama has surged from seven points behind to eight points ahead in the past 20 days. He now leads McCain 51% to 43% in the Sunshine State, said Quinnipiac's Florida expert, Peter Brown...
...In Ohio, Obama leads 50% to 42%, and in Pennsylvania, he's almost put the race out of sight, building a 54% to 39% lead...
At this point in the race, polls matter. This is looking good for Obama. I find it incredible that mainstream media news is still trying to push the "Obama, can't reach the working class" meme. He has consistently polled greater support from white working class voters than either Kerry or Gore ever did. Even now with a huge lead in Pennsylvania they, the media, still want to push a blatant lie. Obama's message is reaching the people.
Watch this FOX News video and what they call a split decision. It's laughable and the people in the diner do laugh.
as usual the Republican nominee John McCain is not on the same page as the people. Most telling number: If Friday's debate does not take place 46%, of Americans say that would be bad for America.

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (September 18, 2008) Video released today shows the indiscriminate arrest of a crowd of two hundred at the waterfront across from a concert on Harriet Island Regional Park during this month's Republican National Convention in St. Paul. The video includes multiple angles of the event as well as an interview with the cameraman who buried his footage and was one of almost two hundred people arrested for rioting without probable cause.
More than eight hundred people were arrested in St. Paul during the Republican National Convention. This video shows that at least twenty percent of the eight hundred plus arrested were seized without due cause.
